To address this issue, the purpose of this study is to identify the source of quality problems and analyze product quality control using the Six Sigma approach. The ultimate goal is to minimize the number of defects in the D-Nose Panel A350 production.

Background of the Study

The D-Nose Panel A350 is a critical component of the aircraft, responsible for distributing aerodynamic loads received by wings during flight. However, the high percentage of defects in this product poses a significant risk to the company's reputation and customer satisfaction. The most common types of defects are corrosion, strain, and contour inaccuracy during 12 production periods. To address this issue, it is essential to identify the root causes of these defects and implement effective quality control measures.

Methodology

This study employed the Six Sigma approach to analyze product quality control and identify the source of quality problems. The Six Sigma method is a data-driven approach that aims to reduce defects and variations in business processes. The study involved four basic causes of defects, namely machine factors, materials, methods, and humans. Recommendations

Based on the findings of this study, the following recommendations are made:
