Introduction

Ovarian cancer is a malignant disease that attacks many women after menopause in Indonesia. This study aims to identify compounds that have the potential to be inhibitors of parp through pharmacofor modeling studies and test the results of identification based on lipinski rules, physicochemical properties parameters, and molecular docking.

Visualization of Amino Acid Residue Interactions

In visualization of amino acid residue interactions, zinc000012895188 compounds, zinc000057895413, zinc000040156126, and zinc000299817270 were found to have the potential to act as inhibitors parp. This is proven through the calculation of in silico through lower Gibbs (∆G) free energy in the tested ligands and the interaction of amino acid residues from the ligands that are tested similar to the comparison ligand, talazoparib.

Conclusion

This study opens opportunities for the development of new drugs based on parp inhibitors with higher effectiveness and lower resistance. Further development needs to be done through in vitro and in vivo tests to validate the results of this pharmacopho-modeling study and ensure the safety and effectiveness of these compounds as prospective parp inhibitors.
