Introduction

On the other hand, inflation had a positive but not significant influence on economic growth, suggesting that although inflation can affect people's purchasing power, it is not strong enough to have a significant impact on Indonesia's economic growth. Conversely, the exchange rate had a negative and significant effect, indicating that fluctuations in exchange rates can cause economic uncertainty and have the potential to hamper investment.

Granger Causality Test

The granger causality test was conducted to examine the direction of causality between the variables. The results showed the absence of a two-way relationship between each research variable, indicating that although there is an influence between variables, no evidence was found that changes in one variable cause changes in other variables. This finding suggests that e-money as a payment instrument has different characteristics compared to other economic components such as money supply and inflation.

The findings of this study have important implications for policymakers in Indonesia.
