The combination of extracts has proven to be more effective in inhibiting bacteria than single extracts (p <0.05).
Conclusion
This study shows that the combination of ethanol extract of red ginger rhizomes and Moringa leaf ethanol extract has significant antibacterial activity to *propionibacterium acnes *and *staphylococcus aureus *. Nanoemulgel formulations developed are proven to be stable and have the potential for safe and effective acne treatment. The development of nanoemulgel with a combination of red ginger extract and Moringa leaves is an important step in presenting alternative treatment of acne that is natural and effective.
