Introduction

This study employed a quantitative approach, involving 101 respondents chosen through purposive sampling techniques. To test the hypothesis, simple linear regression analysis was applied with a significance level of 5% (0.05).

Results

The analysis results show that discounts have a positive and significant influence on impulse buying behavior. The determinant coefficient (R2) value of 0.230 indicates that the discounted price explains 23.0% of the variation of impulse buying, while the remaining 77.0% is influenced by other factors that are not analyzed in this study.
