The significant difference in financial performance before and after autonomy suggests that local governments are able to manage their finances more effectively with the implementation of regional autonomy.

However, the lack of significant difference in the level of efficiency of budget use suggests that local governments still face challenges in managing their finances efficiently. This is a concern that needs to be addressed in order to achieve the objectives of regional autonomy.

Conclusion

Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that regional autonomy has a positive impact on local government financial performance, but there is still much that needs to be improved, especially in terms of the efficiency of the use of the budget.
