The results of this study showed that there was a significant relationship between information exposure variables (content, frequency, and design) with the patient's decision and family to choose foreign hospitals. The findings of this study suggest that patients who have access to accurate and transparent information about healthcare services in Medan are more likely to prefer domestic treatment.

The relationship of information exposure from private hospitals in Medan with patients' decisions to seek treatment abroad shows that appropriate and quality information can be a key in maintaining patients.
