Research Methodology: A Cross-Sectional Study in Singkuang Village

This study was a cross-sectional study conducted in Singkuang Village in April 2016. Data on menarche age was collected through interviews with young women and their parents. In addition, body weight and height were measured to calculate the body mass index (BMI). Symptoms of depression were measured using the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale for Children (CES-DC) questionnaire.

However, statistical analysis shows that there is no significant relationship between the age of menarche and the length of age after menarche with symptoms of depression, with a successive P value of 0.47 and 0.155.
